WEBOct 5, 2018 · the woobie serves well to about 50* calm dry nights and the doobie would go down a bit below that. they are great as a blanket but still very drafty so a bag or foot boxed quilt I think are better for sleeping. However, In my brief research, the mountain serape appears to offer more versatility in its use. Also, the cost between the two is comparable.

Sleeping in only boxers the jungle blanket is comfortable in the mid 60’s and the woobie in the mid to lower 50’s. The woobie drapes over the body much better and lays closer to the skin.

I use it in the summer time just to lay on while in a tent or bivy (with air mat underneath) and it's used as a blanket/sleeping bag in cooler weather. It's lightweight, compact, and durable.
