WEBMar 29, 2021 · Sunstone redesign. Copying and pasting from Tumblr. "Sunstone has always been my least favourite fusion (design wise) besides Steg. With every other fusion you could analize any single part of their outfit and note how, despite being clearly different, it’s just the result of transforming one of the component’s outfit.

Don’t you think Sunstone was a bit of an Anti-Climactic fusion?
WEBJan 29, 2022 · I love Sunstone, all of Steven’s fusions (with his human fusions being a bit of an exception) have his bubblyness and happiness. Sunstone is a walking safety PSA with a head of fire, Rainbow 2.0 is Marry Poppins, literally with nanny powers of cleaning up, and Smoky uses a big Yo-yo and is always cracking jokes.

They all have an story and buildup that makes their debut all the more satisfying.
Why do people have such a burning hatred for Sunstone?
WEBPeople have preferences. Maybe it’s the whole.. safety schtick. People might find Sunstone’s personality as a whole annoying and an all around confusing choice. BUT I did just see a post recently that made a good point on Garnet’s fusions with the Crystal Gems being a sort of amplifier of whoever is fusing with Garnet.
