WEBApr 24, 2013. #1. I have worn out several pairs of Teva sandals over the years. They seemed to stay together until the rubber soles just rotted off. But the last ones I bought a couple of years ago (and haven't used that much) came apart. They have a 2 piece sole. One piece is the part your foot rests on, the other piece is the sole.

WEBMar 10, 2021 · I feel that statement. I did my longest hikes in Teva sandals. Years ago, I stopped at Donohue Pass (where the PCT crosses into Yosemite from the south) for a snack. Another hiker was incredulous at seeing someone in sandals up there. I finished off my 20 mile day and hiked 25 the next day.

My biggest complaint with shims is getting the 'gap' and side-to-side even without scratching the s*** out of the bar, or deforming the shim. But that's on an old school stem- going 25.4 to 26.0. A removable faceplate and thick, easy to handle shim lowers the blood pressure.
