I have no idea because we just stopped for a short time to walk around. I googled the lake though and found some info for you but it won't allow me to submit my answer with the copy/paste inserted here. So just google BEAVER LAKE ASHEVILLE and you will find all the info you need about boating and the email address of the warden if you have other questions.
This "Barney Fife" of a fake ranger is a despicable human. He offered to remove the $50 per dog, per year fee, if she went out with him. He should be arrested or at the very least fired.

I know nothing about this. I'm not sure why there would even be a warden or ranger, real or otherwise, at this location. It is essentially a park.
