Created by Jennie Butchart, and still privately owned and operated by the family, The Gardens was designated a National Historic Site of Canada, in 2004 for its one hundredth birthday.

One of the most beautiful gardens I have seen. Unmissable if in BC. The day ticket is CAD 41, seems expensive but it is worth the cost. The store is great too, and they sell seeds at reasonable cost.… Full review by Triflyer
My husband and I cannot walk all over the gardens due to back issues. We want to visit your beautiful garden. Is there some sort of shuttle or train that takes people around who cannot walk as much?
