The walk up to the castle is amazing, there are plenty of shops in the grounds though most were very expensive, I did think the £22 entry was overpriced, but even if you do not go inside the castle t… Full review by Mark w

Xiaomeng: You may have used a site not approved by the Castle's website. If the day you visit is rainy and you have booked admission, you will not want to visit an attraction that is mostly outdoors. I suggest that you ask someone at the hotel at which you stay to assist buying a ticket in advance. If the day has rain, plan to visit the fabulous National Museum. There is no charge, and you can enjoy a full day indoors learning about Scottish history.
