Had the pleasure of visiting this square whilst on a trip to Trier! Very pretty and surrounded by quirky buildings, shops and restaurants where you can dine and also people watch. Not to be missed! Full review by vykye2000

The main attraction about the Hauptmarkt is the general impression of the square with the reconstructed historic facades and the views on the cathedral, the Porta Nigra, St Gangolf church as you walk around it .
