This is right off of one of the rest areas as you enter the Kitty Hawk area. It is really cool to see the history of flight through the decades. Worth seeing. Full review by thumperrice

Nice little park showing the history of flight thru time. Impressive to see how quickly flight developed immediately after the Wright Brothers foray. Full review by Dan B

Depends on how much you can and want to walk, and if you like to see and read everything. If you want to see and read all, and walk all around the field, I would say that about two hours is right. One hour will give you a very good grasp for what the site offers. The good news is that the admission ticket is good for more than one day (3 or 5 days, I can’t remember exactly) so you can go in an get a sense for the place and then decide how much time to spend there and whether you want to break it up in more than one visits.
Has the construction been completed? I do not want to drive the 1 1/2 hour trip from Norfolk if not all is going to be available. I can make another trip next year when all is completed (hopefully).
