This impressive building was a synagogue before the holocaust. Now it is a museum about Judaism and not an active synagogue. There is no charge to enter the museum. It is a very large and impressive … Full review by RIchard035

This was a Synagogue but is now a cultural centre. It is well preserved and well worth a visit. Make sure you take the short walk from the main street to visit. Full review by Steve_Grant1

You can't go wrong by visiting the Alte Synagoge as it's free to begin with. We knew we wanted to visit the Synagoge, however we had not thought that we would do the free audioguide - so glad we did… Full review by elillamas
