Nearly a week later and I am still haunted by this place. I can not believe we in this country can keep animals like this. Terribly sad. So terribly upsetting, honestly. Full review by Andrew L

No. There's no play area for children but all the children I've seen on my visits there seem more interested in the animals anyway.

Dogs are NOT allowed to go around the sanctuary even on a lead so bear this in mind folks especially on a hot day if like me you do have dogs with you. There is an area you can take the dogs (on a lead) for the toilet etc which is the road that runs through the sanctuary and away from the shop/admission area. It will take you about an hour at a leisurely pace to see all the animals so park in the shade windows ajar and your dog/dogs should be fine !!
