As of writing, AMD has officially announced the RDNA 4 graphics architecture, Radeon RX 9070 series of GPUs, ML-powered FSR 4 upscaling, and new Ryzen 9000 X3D desktop CPUs.
“We are on track to launch the first RDNA4 GPUs in early 2025,” said AMD CEO Lisa Su. It’s the first public confirmation of its next-gen Radeon timeline.
AMD plans to eventually integrate RDNA 4 into laptop chips, but these will likely take the form of APUs rather than discrete GPUs.
