On July 10, 2025, Southwest Airlines Flight WN4563, a Boeing 737‑8H4, departed from Las Vegas (LAS) bound for Santa Barbara (SBA). Minutes after takeoff, the crew declared an emergency due to a left‑engine failure. Promptly returning to LAS, the aircraft landed safely.
