Lyft has joined Uber in requesting that Gov. Jared Polis veto the rideshare bill passed by the Colorado Legislature.

House Bill 1291 was sponsored by Democrats, including Rep. Jenny Willford, who was sexually assaulted by a rideshare driver last year. It was meant to protect other riders from similar assaults. The measure passed on the last day of the legislative session after a series of amendments.
