A toy snowman has been recalled after it was discovered its top hat can break into small pieces and pose a choking hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced. The Step2 Company of Ohio has issued the recall of approximately 30,000 units of the “My First Snowman” toy which were manufactured in December 2023 and April 2024.
Health Canada has issued a consumer product recall notice for My First Snowman’s top hat due to choking hazard. The product was sold at Walmart Canada online only, according to the recall notice.
