After Ben Shelton defeated Lorenzo Sonego in Wimbledon 2025's third round, the tennis pro made a touching public plea for his sister Emma Shelton to get more time off work to watch his next match.

Shelton captured this career milestone with his dad, mom, sister and girlfriend Trinity Rodman in the crowd. During his post-match interview, though, Shelton made sure to give his dad a sweet shoutout.

Ben Shelton has reached his first Wimbledon quarterfinal — doing a round better than his father-turned coach, Bryan, did in 1994 — by beating Lorenzo Sonego 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (1), 7-5.
