Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Brad Stevens didn't mince words over why the Celtics had to trade Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday.

After two seasons with the team, the Boston Celtics traded Kristaps Porzingis to the Atlanta Hawks as part of a three-team trade with the Brooklyn Nets earlier this offseason. This trade was widely anticipated due to Boston looking to move under the second apron, and the Latvian native is now officially on his third team in four years.

Even though he's been the Celtics' de facto general manager since 2021, trading players is still difficult for Brad Stevens.
