Brandon Routh has yet to congratulate fellow Superman David Corenswet since seeing the newest version of the superhero film.

While “Superman Returns” disappointed at the box office and with critics, Routh has never soured on DC. Over the years, he’s appeared in several adaptations of its comic book IP in a variety of roles.

James Gunn‘s Superman reboot starring David Corenswet just received some major praise from a former Man of Steel. In 2006, Brandon Routh succeeded Christopher Reeve as Clark Kent/Superman with Superman Returns serving as a homage sequel to Reeve’s quadrilogy of films.
