Mountain Fire initially started 8:51 a.m. Nov. 6 in Ventura County. It has burned 20,630 acres after being active for a week. By Wednesday morning, a crew of 2,399 firefighters effectively contained 60% of the fire. The cause of it is still under investigation.

At least 200 structures, including homes, have been destroyed alongside an additional 90 damaged in the ongoing wind-fanned Mountain Fire in Ventura County, fire officials said Tuesday morning.

Driven by powerful Santa Ana winds, the Mountain Fire in Ventura County forced more than 10,000 people to flee their homes as it exploded by thousands of acres, injuring people and destroying homes in its path.
