The Boilermakers announced the signing of former BYU safety Crew Wakley on Wednesday. The 6-0, 200-pound Utah native, who began his career at Utah State, has two years of eligibility remaining.

He has one year of eligibility left and has chosen to head to Western Kentucky. Wakley transferred in from Utah State and saw significant time at safety in the last two seasons with the Cougars.
