The Dallas Cowboys are once again in a contract standoff with one of their star players. Micah Parsons finds himself in the same situation that Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb have in the past.
Prescott signed a four-year, $240 million extension with the Cowboys in September. The deal made him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL, with an average annual value of $60 million. The contract also included an $80 million signing bonus.
They did it before the NFL Draft, when insider Bill Barnwell predicted the Cowboys might avoid Parsons’ impending mega-contract (now likely to come in at over $40 million APY) by trading him to the Atlanta Falcons in a three-team deal on draft night.
