DC Comics has shared a first look at DC x Sonic the Hedgehog #1, a new five-issue series featuring the Justice League's meeting with characters from Sonic's world...and yes, he'll be racing The Flash!

Ever imagined what a crossover between DC Comics’ biggest heroes and the world of Sonic the Hedgehog would look like? Well, the latest crossover comic, which is scheduled to be published on March 19,

In addition to the comic, future DC and Sonic the Hedgehog collaborations are planned, including a merch set featuring Shadow dressed as Batman – although this will be exclusive to Target in the US. Other planned merch includes Sonic as The Flash, Tails as Cyborg, Amy as Wonder Woman, and more.

Perhaps it's that chaos that will lead to the mash-up between the heroes becoming literal, as Sonic is mashed-up with Flash, Shadow becomes Batman, Tails becomes Cyborg, Silver becomes Green Lantern, Amy becomes Wonder Woman, and Knuckles becomes Superman.

Sega and DC Comics have revealed new plot information and artwork from an upcoming crossover comic series. The first issue of DC x Sonic the Hedgehog is released on March 19 and sees Sonic and his friends teaming up with the Justice League. The series will consist of five issues, with issue one featuring two variant covers.

DC x Sonic the Hedgehog is part of a larger collaboration between Warner Bros. and Sega. The companies are teaming for a series of toys and collectibles sold exclusively at Target, starting off with a line of T-shirts and hoodies featuring Shadow the Hedgehog dressed as Batman.
