Sarepta will halt all shipments of Elevidys, its drug for Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients, by Tuesday evening.

Sarepta Therapeutics (NASDAQ:SRPT) said late Monday it will pause all shipments of its Duchenne muscular dystrophy gene therapy, Elevidys, in the U.S. The development comes after Sarepta declined to halt shipments of its Elevidys gene therapy,

Company CEO Doug Ingram said the pause was necessary for Sarepta to maintain a "productive and positive working relationship" with the regulator.
