USC offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon announced his transfer to the Ducks on Tuesday morning. Pregnon was rated the top interior lineman in the portal by multiple recruiting services and picked Oregon after heavy pursuit from Texas.

The Oregon Ducks have landed offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon out of the transfer portal. The former USC Trojans starter was considering Oregon as well as the Texas Longhorns and Tennessee Volunteers.

It may have seemed as if the Oregon Ducks were wrapping things up in the winter window of the transfer portal after adding eight potential starters to the roster throughout the month of December and early January,

Pregnon was one of the many talented players to leave USC this past offseason and enter the transfer portal, joining the likes of Duce Robinson, Zachariah Branch, and Miller Moss. In 2024, Pregnon started all 13 games at the left guard spot and gave up zero sacks on the year.

Emmanuel Pregnon is expected to visit the Tennessee Volunteers within the next few days. Pregnon is a former Trojan and Wyoming offensive lineman.

Pregnon was arguably USC’s most consistent offensive lineman in 2024, and will leave a gaping hole at left guard on a unit that already had several other needs.

After transferring in from Wyoming, Pregnon started on USC’s offensive line for the past two seasons. He was arguably the Trojans’ best o-lineman during that span, and was projected as a mid-round pick should he decide to enter the NFL Draft.
