Latest developments have revealed that eggs in US are getting so costly with every passing day that thieves ended up stealing nearly 100,000 of them which are worth approximately $40,000.

Someone has stolen about 100,000 eggs from a distribution trailer in south-central Pennsylvania as rising egg prices and shortages continue to worry U.S. consumers.

Four days after the theft that law enforcement say could be tied to the sky-high cost of eggs, no leads have come in.
