The titular golfer played by Adam Sandler in the Netflix sequel Happy Gilmore 2 has a new support system. Actress Kym Whitley has joined the cast of director Kyle Newacheck's comedy feature that is set to premiere later this year on the streamer.

“Happy Gilmore 2” is a sequel to the 1996 movie “Happy Gilmore.” Returning characters include Happy Gilmore, played by Adam Sandler; Virginia Venit, played by Julie Bowen; Doug Thompson, played by Dennis Dugan; and Shooter McGavin, played by Christopher McDonald.
