There’s very little historical precedent for what IU’s defense accomplished against Michigan last week by holding its rival to 206 total yards. That’s the lowest total for the Wolverines in the rivalry in the 47 games they’ve played going back to 1960.

In the ACC, there were some big upsets last week. Miami is no longer undefeated as they fell on the road against Georgia Tech, and Pitt lost a home game against Virginia to lose their second consecutive contest. It was a tough week for teams at the top.

That’s because Indiana is rolling, ranked No. 8 in the College Football Playoff rankings, and the Hoosiers have been clowning every team in its path not too dissimilar from how Michigan has the past three seasons. Thus, the 5-4, unranked Wolverines have an uphill climb in this tough battle.
