Ex-Labour leader Neil Kinnock just came up with a brutal new nickname for the alternative party Jeremy Corbyn is trying to set up: the Farage Assistance Group. Suspended Labour MP Zarah Sultana quit the party this week and announced she was starting up a new group with former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who was expelled from the party in 2024.

Former Labour leader Lord Neil Kinnock has warned that any “splintering” of the left-wing parties would “only be of assistance to the enemies of Labour”. He suggested a breakaway party being created to the left of Labour should be known as the “ Farage assistance group”.
