Jonathan Milan won the Individual Pursuit at the Track Cycling World Championships in Denmark. And he did so in a most powerful way. The Italian defeated Britain's Josh Charlton in a world-record-breaking performance.

He went into an early lead, and though Charlton looked for the briefest time like he was staging a comeback, Milan was on a charge and claimed the gold a new world record in a time of 3:59.153, compared with Charlton’s 3:59.304 this morning.
