LeBron James disputed one report about his relationship with Anthony Davis after the blockbuster trade that sent the latter to the Mavericks and Luka Doncic to the Lakers.

Late Saturday night, the Lakers agreed to trade Anthony Davis to Dallas in exchange for Doncic. And while the Lakers are suddenly set for the post-LeBron era, it had to be bittersweet for LeBron to lose a teammate in Davis.

"I'm committed to the Lakers," James said after a win over the Clippers. "It's my job to make it as seamless as possible."
