Manatee County commissioners voted have an ordinance drafted to end a requirement that its water supply be treated with fluoride.
Commissioners voted to bring an ordinance on removing fluoride from the water supply at a later date. The county must also consider repairing the current fluoridation system.
Developments east of county utilities, fluoride in the water and speeding tickets are all on track to be limited.
