Sebastian Stan has hit out at criticisms of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), claiming that it is “convenient” for people to “pick on” the popular franchise. In recent years, the record-breaking film and TV franchise has faced mounting criticism from fans, critics and even actors and directors within the US film industry.

Sebastian Stan recently addressed the criticisms that the MCU has been receiving for the last few years. The franchise has been receiving mixed reactions for its film and TV output in recent years as fans felt that they've been releasing too many projects and the quality has not been the same as the Infinity Saga installments.

According to Stan, “Thunderbolts” is Marvel’s version of Miloš Forman’s Oscar-winning 1975 film “ One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest ,” which centered on a mutinous uprising in a psych ward. Stan told Variety that his role in “Thunderblots” as Bucky Barnes “was kind of like ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ — a guy coming into this group that was chaotic and degenerate,
