A "Good Trouble Lives On" protest at a high-traffic west Mesa intersection escalated after an argument between demonstrators and a Trump supporter. On Thursday, approximately 300 people lined up along North 12 St. next to Lincoln Park for the “Good Trouble Lives On” protest from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Waving signs, American flags, and chanting, local protesters joined alongside over 1500 “Good Trouble” events across the nation.

Authorities estimated the downtown Good Trouble Lives On crowd to be around 500 to 600 people. Other rallies were slated throughout the region Thursday, including Mira Mesa and across North County, from Encinitas to Escondido.
