The Moorhead Police Department says a teen who ran away from his residence in early December has been found safe.

A teenage girl missing from Moorhead has been found safe after almost two months. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has canceled a search for Melissa Barrett, 17, who was reported missing after last being seen in West Fargo, North Dakota, on Nov. 15. She was found safe on Tuesday, the BCA said in an update.

Moorhead police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teenager. Authorities say that 15-year-old Josiah Shipp ran away from his home on Dec. 4 and has not returned. Shipp is described as 5’7″ and 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and black Nike Air Force shoes.
