NBC News' Bill Karins reports on the destructive EF2 tornado that hit central Florida as residents and emergency crews survey the resulting damage.

An EF-2 tornado was confirmed to have touched down north of Orlando, along Interstate 4, on Monday, according to NBC affiliate WESH.

A radar-confirmed tornado struck Lake Mary in Seminole County on Monday morning. The tornado was captured moving across Interstate 4 just north of Orlando, as it whipped through Lake Mary and into Sanford.

A confirmed EF-2 tornado touched down in Seminole County on Monday, with winds up to 115 mph. The tornado damaged or destroyed several homes, but no injuries were reported.
