Penta made his entrance to a hyped crowd inside the SAP Center in San Jose, California, and he emerged from the darkness with his signature "Cero Miedo" signature mark. He soaked it all in as he made his way to the ring and the crowd cheered him on.

During the January 13, 2025, episode of Monday Night RAW, Penta made his WWE debut in a match against Chad Gable. However, it may have upset some people backstage. PWInsider reports that Penta’s debut went “way longer” than it was planned for.

Penta vs. Gable ran 13:21, with Penta hitting his Sacrifice armbreaker and newly-rechristened Penta Driver finisher for the win. In his post-match promo, Penta called WWE his "new home", saying he'd been waiting for his moment for a long time.

When news broke that Penta was leaving his Lucha Bro behind in AEW purgatory to debut in WWE solo, fans had pretty high expectations for the pride of Mexico City. Soon, fans of the biggest wrestling promotion in the world would get to see one of the greatest luchadors in the business perform against some of the top stars in the industry.
