A man was arrested after he allegedly fired a gun into a crowd of rival gang bikers at a RaceTrac gas station in Volusia County over the weekend.

Shoppers were sent running for cover inside a Florida gas station when a parking lot brawl between rival biker gangs escalated to gunfire, video shows. Two people were wounded in the melee, which erupted Saturday, March 8, at a RaceTrac gas station in New Smyrna Beach, police said in a March 10 news release.

New Smyrna Beach police are investigating a reported shooting on State Road 44 involving rival motorcycle gangs. The number of injured remains unclear, but all injuries appear non-life-threatening. Authorities urged the public to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
