Workers at dozens of Safeway and Albertsons grocery stores in the region have ended their strike after the union representing them announced a breakthrough in contract negotiations.

At around 7 a.m. on Saturday, UFCW Local 7, the largest private-sector Union in the Colorado and Wyoming area, announced on social media that a tentative agreement has been reached with the Albertsons company.
