According to the auction house, the items are appearing on the market for the first time and were originally gifted to Bessette-Kennedy's close friend and John F. Kennedy Jr.'s assistant RoseMarie Terenzio.

According to Terenzio, Bessette-Kennedy gifted her the all-over leopard print coat as a last-minute outfit fix before Terenzio was heading out for a date. The coat is being offered with a low estimate of US$20,000.
