Less than a week after Hurricane Milton barreled across Florida, another tropical depression could form in the Atlantic Ocean by the end of the week, forecasters said Monday. The National Hurricane Center in Miami is tracking an "area of active weather" west of the Cabo Verde Islands in the Atlantic with a 50% chance of forming this week.

As people in Florida pick up the pieces from Hurricane Milton, there was Tropical Storm Leslie far out to sea and a tropical wave.

The National Hurricane Center is monitoring a disturbance in the far eastern Atlantic Ocean. As of the NHC’s Sunday morning update, the system has a 30% chance of development as it moves westward or southwestward across the tropical Atlantic over the next seven days.
