A judge found a San Antonio woman guilty of beating her 70-year-old grandmother to death with a hammer. Tamera Laws, 28, appeared in court Friday to hear the verdict of her bench trial last month.
After an emotional day in court Monday, Tamera Laws was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the 2020 killing of her grandmother, Doris Ruth Novella.
