Family members have identified more than a dozen people who are presumed missing after severe flooding in the Texas Hill Country on Fourth of July weekend.
George Strait is hosting a benefit concert on July 27 to aid Texas Hill Country flood victims, featuring fellow artists and proceeds going to the Vaqueros Del Mar Texas Flood Relief Fund.
Several factors, both meteorological and geographical, created a nightmare recipe for flash flooding across the Texas Hill Country.

The flood watch will stay in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday. Isolated rainfall of up to 6 inches will be possible.
Organizations pledge support for Texas flood victims as death toll reaches 43, with Shakira donating concert proceeds and USAA and Houston Texans each giving $500,000.
Flood watches have been issued by the National Weather Service until at least 7 p.m. CT July 6 in Hill Country and along the I-35 corridor. The Weather Prediction Center added that scattered thunderstorms are likely to drop "torrential downpours over sensitive soils across parts of the Texas Hill Country."
Officials in Kerr County, where the majority of the deaths from the July 4 flash floods occurred, have yet to detail what actions they took in the early hours of the disaster.
