The Memorial Day weekend is here and it promises to bring Houston both heat and humidity. Of course, no one should be terribly surprised that the unofficial kickoff to summer is going to be hot and humid in Southeast Texas,

Temperatures will be spilt across the country over the holiday weekend with cool temperatures in the Northeast and Midwest and warm temperatures across the western and southern U.S. Meanwhile, rounds of severe weather and heavy rain are expected across the Plains and parts of the South.

Memorial Day weekend in North Texas is starting out clear and sunny, but storms are on the way and will hamper plans on Monday.
