The cast of the next series of the Great Celebrity Bake Off has been unveiled – including a new addition to the judging panel.

Dame Prue Leith has shared a frank admission about her view on ageing in an appearance on Loose Women. The 84-year-old Great British Bake Off star admitted she is 'conscious it's nearly the end' in a conversation with the ITV show's presenters.

The Great British Bake Off judge explained: “I think old age stinks... It takes me 10 minutes to get myself out of the bed in the morning and if I don’t do the exercises, I can’t move! There's all sorts of things that are wrong with old age. You know, you are very conscious that this is nearly the end.”

Channel 4 has shared first-look images at this year's The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer, confirming who will replace Prue Leith on the judging panel. Last March, the judge announced that she would step down from the show's celebrity edition but would continue to appear on The Great British Bake Off.
