Turlock police are investigating an early morning homicide after a person was found dead near Lander Avenue and Rosewood Drive.

A person was shot and killed in Turlock early Tuesday morning, according to the Turlock Police Department. Medics with the Modesto Fire Department responded to the 1800 block of Lander Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. and were informed that CPR was in progress when they got the call.

A person was killed in an isolated incident at Lander Avenue and Rosewood Drive, the Turlock Police Department said.
