Elton John is enjoying a return to the top of the UK album chart, with a record first released in 2017. The BBC reports that Sir Elton's greatest hits collection Diamonds has gone to number one in the UK after 374 weeks on the charts,

Sir Elton’s greatest hits compilation is a long-term fixture on the Official Albums Chart – having already logged a total of 325 weeks inside the UK Top 40.   Originally released in 2017, the LP could finally reach the top spot thanks to the release of a super deluxe edition Blu-ray and a limited Bad World diamond-effect LP.
