The federal government on Saturday dismissed charges against a Utah plastic surgeon accused of throwing away COVID-19 vaccines, giving children saline shots instead of the vaccine and selling faked vaccination cards.

The Department of Justice has abruptly dropped all charges against a Utah doctor and three of his associates who were accused of destroying Covid-19 vaccines and falsifying records, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Saturday in a post on X.

"I didn't advertise anything. I didn't make anybody come in. It was all word of mouth," he explained. "It was all their-- you know, based on their desire, because they'd done their own research and so they were just looking for somebody that agreed with them.
