Aryna Sabalenka has come back after being two points from dropping the opening set of her second-round Wimbledon match three times.

The top-seeded women’s player and the two-time defending men’s champ win in straight sets as a record-tying 23 seeded players were bounced by the end of Day 2.

Aryna Sabalenka booked her spot in the third round at Wimbledon 2025 with a hard-fought 7-6(4), 6-4 win over Marie Bouzkova on Centre Court on Wednesday. The world No. 1 had to dig deep in a tight opening set but pulled through with a strong tie-break before sealing the match in one hour and 35 minutes.
