Wrestlemania 42 will not take place in New Orleans in 2026, according to a joint statement from the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and GNOSF ( Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation ).

WWE has announced that the 2026 edition of Money in the Bank will take place in New Orleans on Aug. 29. The event's scheduling comes after WrestleMania 42 was relocated, opening the door for New Orleans to host one of WWE’s marquee shows.

WrestleMania is certainly the most important event that exists in this business and is able to create a round of money that attracts many sponsors.
