Aaron Glenn’s first Jets coaching staff added another notable name to the offensive side of the ball. Gang Green is hiring Scott Turner as their pass game coordinator, The Post’s Mark Cannizzaro confirmed through a league source.

The New York Jets are adding Scott Turner to their new staff as the team's pass game coordinator under Aaron Glenn.

Glenn approached the topic strongly but ultimately kept it non-committal. He revealed to reporters that he had spoken with Rodgers, but wouldn't rush to make a decision; he merely promised the Jets would find the "right answer" when it comes to the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

“Put your seat belts on and get ready for the ride,” the Jets’ new head coach said Monday afternoon. Glenn and new Jets general manager Darren Mougey were formally introduced at a news conference that was filled with energy and optimism. “This is a very happy day for the New York Jets,” owner Woody Johnson said.

A person with knowledge of the hiring says the New York Jets and Aaron Glenn have agreed to terms on making the Detroit Lions defensive coordinator their head coach.

Jets defensive line coach Aaron Whitecotton and cornerbacks coach Tony Oden are also both under consideration for roles on Glenn’s staff, according to sources.
