Reinet Investments SCA agreed to sell its 2% stake in British American Tobacco Plc for £1.22 billion ($1.49 billion), exiting its long-running position in the company.

British American Tobacco PLC BATS shares slipped 1.11% to £29.33 Monday, on what proved to be an all-around grim trading session for the stock market, with the FTSE 100 Index UKX falling 0.29% to 8,224.
